I think the size of the transfer fund would have been negoiated as part of his contract. It may be that he has not negoiated an actual figure but postions and names of players and it will up to PB to get them in regardless of cost.

I think they want to buy now the quality that they can use higher up the table which will mean they dont need to discard them in 6 months time and start again.

MH must have a resaonable amount for this windows and the next and the one after that if they are to meet the ambition talked about.

Its very clear, the squad we have got is not strong enough to stay up comfortably. New manager syndrome will only last for a few games after that its a dog fight.

I'm confident we will see some incoming players before the end of the month.
Exactly! MH would not have taken this job if the board did not assure him of some money being spent now! If they are to wait until the summer transfer window then we might as well sign players to compete against the likes of Burnley and Crystal Palace because we will be back in the Championship!

If we dont sign some players we are down simple as that.

We are going to sign players in Jan...we all know that, so where has this contradiction come from?

Doesn't matter, ignore it and enjoy the month people.... I think we will have at least 4 additions in the month, maybe 5.

No way, Hughes would have signed for us without a severe amount of money to spend in this window.
