  • Taarabt's Position

    From the horses mouth:

He has mainly played on the left but would prefer to play behind the two strikers. “It’s not my position [on the left],” Taarabt told Hotspur magazine. “But if the coach asks me to play there then I will give 100 per cent. I think I’ve got good technique. I play with both feet, but my heading skills are not the greatest. I am not to keen on defending, but my strongest point is dribbling and taking people on.

May not be a striker either?

he is a left winger. I don't care what he wants to be he has to play in his best position where he will be most effective. If he can't head a ball there is no point playing Routledge and cook.
I played sunday league football today.

Clearly I was the best player on the pitch.

I scored 5 and made 7 last ditch tackles.

We lost 5-0 but the rest of my team were sh it!

Taarabt, Buzsacky, Cerny, Vine, Gorkks, Connolly, Routledge, automatic starters imo.

Considering he is right footed id say his best and most natural position is right wing.

Although he has the ability to play in 3-4 roles better than most.

Him as a striker or playing just behind vine sounds good to me.

Mate no one wants the wide left position ( the ghost shift) not even the lefties. I think he's very much another Buzsaky type very talented and could play anywhere from the middle to front.

Arsenal and many other teams don't cross balls in for target men. I suggest we will play a different style and I'm sure tarrabt won't need to be a great header of a ball.

He's very versatile can play either flank, centre mid or as second striker think its a great purchase as long as he stays fit:exciting::exciting:
