How about we just stick to facts

He got 2 points out of the last 8 games
he played a strong team against a L1 team and barely scraped a draw and lost our best midfielder for the season
he has made ridiculous substitutions all year and steadfastly refused to change his formation or not pick his favourite players

How about we spread a new rumours from these facts......

i thought it was 3 teams in the same season in the same league
i.e. the issue they had with lasana diarra (sp?) at portsmouth

surely not the reason and as the OP stated - it was an awful run that needed to change.

imagine if we waited until Feb/March to see where we were and then not been able to get any new players due to the Window.

The rule is a player isn't allowed to play for more than 2 clubs in one season. Yakubu didn't play for Everton so can still join another club.

Crap is a tad harsh mate, but he struggles in the top division, hence if you look at his record its mainly spent in league1 or two.

Crap managers dont take a team from relegation candidates to league winners in just over a year.

in the premiership has he been crap
if we were a championship team then great but we're not and we want to stay up in the PL and he just is not the man for it
like he has admitted himself, he is a motivator not a tactician

thats great for getting someone like mackie to overachieve in the championship but not how you manage top class players

its why people like martinez, lambert etc will succeed but warnock, ince etc never will in the PL

the rule can be lifted, which happened in the Diarra case as portsmouth argued he had not played for chelsea before they sold him to arsenal who then sold him on to portsmouth...

Have to say that did make me laugh. NW leaves with his head held high but his tactics this season were a bit suspect !
