The magnitude of this is being over shadowed by the NW sacking obviously! Whoever the new gaffer is, he'll be dealing with a major hole in the lineup right from the get go as Ali was about our best player IMHO and missed very few matches! Devastating news about Ali! He really is such a talent an it's another headache we don't need, especially with our thin squad and other players away in Africa ATM! Guess only positive is we can assume he will be with us for he foreseeable future!Comment

Isn't Ali one of the only players (I think Young may be the other) who has played in every single PL fixture this season? Major hole in our lineup for new gaffer to fix. As someone mentioned though it means we'll keep him for the rest of the season.SAR Season TicketComment

This is far worse than Warnock going im, he's the one that keeps the ball in midfield, his passing is key to how we play and now he is out for the season! Think we should have gone for young Josh McEachran , idle replacement but unfortunately Swansea bound.Comment
