The Notts County thing was something and nothing and he didn't deliver immediately with Leicester, but his record is excellent no matter what people want to think. Not only has he been successful in different countries, but has done it with some of the less fashionable clubs.

not for me del...his successes were in italy many moons ago. Was pony for england and bar that spell with city has done nowt since. You may need to remind me of his excellent record mate.

From Wiki.... yes pre England, but can't be disregarded. With the right club and backing i think he could be good. I'm not saying he'd be my 1st choice, because he wouldn't, but i would be happy enough if he was chosen.
