Funny, Briatore & Ecclestone were coated off for using the work project and yet they are primarily responsible for where we are now. They were losing similar sums of money in the Championship and didn't do it for fun either.

So why is it ok to call it a project now and not then??

tbh i understood what they were trying to do , they went about it wrong way,
it all depends what we want for the club , do we want to be languishing in the lower leagues forever and a day or do we want people to make us something we have dreamed of
remember a project can be many things , i see this in short medium long terms as
short term pl survival
medium term established pl team
longterm new stadium more income and challenging for cups etc

that initself is a project , its not a bad thing but something we will i imagine look forward to? that last bit an assumption and apologies if not how you see it
