    The right decision

Let me start by saying I am eternally grateful for what NW has done for our club, he transformed us and I will never forget that, but...

The last few months we have been so poor. More and more has got worse amd coupled with what's happening with him and coaches etc behind the scenes didn't help.

What happened is Neil lost the dressing room, once that happens there is no going back. It had to be done.

Mark Hughes would be an attractive appointment and I feel a better caliber of player will be attracted.
Samba and Zamora will want to come here.

We need to get on and back our board, TF and Amit are the best thing to happen to us, thank you again Neil but football moves on.

Agree with all you say. We are only going in one direction and this was needed imho.

Two months ago I said he had lost the plot and was only a matter of time before he paid with his job, but it was his team selections, tactics and subs, none elses. Sad to see him go and will never forget last season, but it's a results business and his results have been bad lately, really bad.

agree with you Jeffro. Club either had to do it now and get new manager in now and give him the money for new players or give it to warnock and continue with him til the summer. his tactics haven't been up to it this season, players out of position and no plan b. Like you say Hughes can attract better players who can help us up. A new manager generally has an instant impact, see O'Neill at sunderland, if that gives us 10pts that could be the difference between going down and staying up

Warnock will always be a hero to me but since arriving in the PL his decisions (bizzare substitutions, tactics that clearly don't work, players playing out of position) have not been up to scratch. He's a fantastic manager at Championship level but couldn't quite cut it in the PL.

Will wait to see what Hughes does before giving my opinion on him!

I think that the right decision has been made but it does not make me happy today is a sad day.
Tomorrow onwards and upwards I hope.

Good sensible post, thanks for last year Colin but we need fresh impetus.

Good to see TF and Amit making the tough decisions at the right time.

Totally agree. I applaud Fernandes for making the decision now. Its the right time. If he waited any longer, it wouldn't give the new manager the chance to bring the players he wants.

Agreed, so sad for Neil but he really didn't help his case with some of his tactics/substitutions. Hope to hear 'thank you Neil Warnock' belted out at Newcastle.

                              Jones and Curle gone too.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
