    one massive signing

if qpr had to make one massive signing to save us this season who would you chose,.i know many of you would go for a defender, but i would go for jorden rhodes,at 6 ft 2 inches tall, hes considerd to be one of the best headers of the ball in the country, the chairmen of huddersfield has recently turned down a four million pound bid for him and also declared rhodes is priceless, but he is still 21 years of age, scored over a hundred goals, qpr and norwich have been linked to him,if this guy is thev new clive allen then i would bid what ever it took to get him, maybe we could give huddersrield botheroyde and balanta and shittu ,plus ten million for him but, what ever it took i would bring him in

I'm not sure we can take a gamble on an unproven lower league player right now. If it doesn't work out, we've got no cover and we've done our cash.

If we had a better squad then maybe, but too big a risk right now.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.

Damion Stewart's ass. About as massive as it gets.

Stick it in goal and play 10 upfront.

In all serious though, he's a decent player but as a sole signing I'd rather not.

Huge difference between League 1 and Prem. Connor Wickham has hardly set the league a light this season.

For any Prem team about to gamble on him, they would definitely not be looking for a return on their investment in the first 6 months, let alone putting the pressure of survival on the shoulders of someone so young!

If Warnock and TF said they only had funds to bring in 1 player to solve our problems and they unveiled a guy from League 1, they would either be lynched or ridiculed.....

For me, Alex or Defoe / Pav.

Fair enough mate. My personal opinion would be defender over striker as our defence is shambolic at times. We need somebody at CB alongside Anton.

We have HH doing OK up top, and DJ when he is back at fitness will get goals if he is played. Whereas at CB, we have nobody in our ranks capable of stopping the leaky defence!

Hopefully, we will make signings in both areas so we are all happy

We desperately need another Big Mac in the middle of defence. He was our bedrock for so long. No matter what went on up-field you knew you could always rely on that man controlling the defence with composure. Sort that out and the rest will follow.

                        I'd take Samba
he's solidify the back line and chip in a few goals from corners too

we've looked rubbish on corners since losing gorks

Not expecting ANY massive signings. Plenty of positive soundbites coming out about targets (Samba, Defoe, Pav etc) but these were never going to happen. We'll pick up fringe players and loans.

Defoe and Pav are Fringe players as hardly ever get a start.

AS unlikely as we all think they are, 6 months ago we all thought the talk of SWP, Barton etc was ridiculous and just soundbites....
