                                  Would help us if nobody got injured etc.... but knowing our luck he'd play at least half the first team and we'd end up losing Ferdinand / SWP / Young etc for a lot longer than the 1 game we'd benefit from gettign Joey back for.

                                  Last year at Blackburn he only played a few of the 1st team and Mackie done his leg and was out for 9 months.

                                                  Us losing in the 3rd round of the FA Cup to a lower division team is not going to be much of a shock to our fans is it ?
                                                  Let the first XI have a rest, let the reserves have a run out with Macheda and DJ getting match fitness
