I'd happily take Pienaar or Kranjcar. Kuyt looks like he might be out of the frame at Liverpool too, he'd be good.

Thatīs what I tried to say. But in that way we do also have a positional problem in midfield. One have to stay and one have to go.
But itīs also a drawback when a player like Jay Bothroyd doesnt track back or say run at their defenders when he/us looses the ball.

Arriving late in the box has been a big problem we've had for a long while. I hope that with a better defence our midfield will play a higher line and, slow tho' they are, they might have time to trundle up the park to receive a cross.

You would hope also with a better class of defender, we might play it out from the back a bit more as lumping it from the Keeper tends to leave our slow coaches a long way behind.

our midfield is solid, but doesnt create nearly enough.

taarabt is never a winger so id more class him as a striker - who is probably off anyhow.

swp unless played wide right wont create half as much and we have our best left winger playing left back.

barton and faurlin are good for playing with the ball, but neither add anything defensively or when going forward. they are very much 'in the middle'.

we need imo the defensive, younger and smarter version of derry. I feel he has gone to wolves on loan. we missed a trick there.

then we need somebody who can produce something in the final third. again, we have it in championship form: buzsaky -who probably now doesn't cut it.

ideally id like our bench to have more depth for the midfield. ideally having options for starting XI something like:
            frimpong,
            barton,
            faurlin,
            kranjcar,
            pienaar,
            swp

many options with those players. we can change a game either way with that lot and in honest i dont think they are unreachable targets(aside frimpong), the spurs two come in on loan and wallop
Soldier: "im on reconnaissance sir.. im looking for our camouflage expert.. have you seen him?"
            Lovejoy: "No?!"
Soldier: "GOD DAMNIT THAT GUYS GOOD!"

He would have been an interesting player to have in our squad, thatīs for sure.

I think it was David Jones at Wigan.

We need a destroyer with a bit of pace fairly decent in the air who can pass simply and efficiently

I'll more than willing to chip in Ģ15 a week towards Yaya Toure's wages if TF is struggling to lure him away from City?

Could it be that Ben Watson is the answer? If not why?

                          Any concrete suggestions?
                          Should we look abroad?

                          I just wonder.

Is Toure considering a move to us?

                              I wish!

A move to us is probably as tempting to Yaya as sandpapering his own nob.

I'd drive Yaya down from Manchester myself if there was the remotest chance of us getting him
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
