To be honest going down isn't the biggest issue - it is getting to the Prem in the first place and we did that.

Not what I said at all ! Of course we CAN beat anyone, doesn't mean we have a right to EXPECT it! The gulf in class between us and the team you mentioned is huge! Anything we get against them is a bonus, but when they beat us it's what should happen and I for one will not cry about it long as of course we at least have a go

I haven;t got the exact numbers, but as we played in prem we are elegible and the parachute paymenst are going up in value and being extended a further year. May even be four years now. I will go check. It means we will have a lot of money coming in even if we go down.

The Premier League want to keep the Prem strong, so getting up the first time was so vital, especially the year we did it.
