Could Defoe be back on? Other rumours?

I'm hearing Drogba may be going to Spurs, if so then Defoe will be looking to move on to get the regular start he wants to boost his England chances ahead of euro 12?

Also rumours of Andy Johnson more likely than Zamora for us?

Any other info around? Ridgewell? Onuha? Bassong? Upson? Beckham? (kidding)

C'mon Ric Roc, what do you know? Begin your reply with the word 'allegedly' and you'll be OK

Wouldn't Drogba be more of a replacement for Adybyor who is only on loan and wants massive, massive money to make it a permanent move?

I read somewhere that Johnson is Blackburn bound. Hope so, apart from the prospect of facing him at Ewood Park as we seem to be the only team he scores against.

Onouha also being touted for Blackburn and as he doesn't want to come south, might be possible. But wd that free up Samba? Spurs also linked with Samba tho, and hard to see up competing with them. Hope Spurs injury probs don't scupper the Bassong deal. Someone was mentioning Bertrand on loan as a left back which is a good shout.

Problem is, as in a restaurant when the staff goes home, now the waiter is no longer with us all the sauces have dried up. Am sure its purely coincidence...

i reckon that if defoe was to ever happen it wouldn't be a perm signing. but it would be like the bassong deal. if spurs get their man then we get ours. so if tevez or drogba go spurs then yeah. we're in with a chance otherwise no.

No doubt Adabayor is on ridiculous wages, but if they can't afford his, then they won't be able to afford Drogba and Tevez either as i espect on similar money, or more in Tevez case.....??

I know, it was a right nightmare when that Tony Fernandes signed Hulse.....
