  • im not an adel fan................but

over the last 120 mins he has at last shown us 'glimpses' of an ability to be a 'team player'....yes he will still overdo it and delay a thru ball to our detrement but we have very very little quality in the playmaking department and unless warnock address's this in jan adel must be given a six game run and not taken off when many around him are doing naff all as well............
    you know nothing john snow!!!!

He put a shift in last night and actually looked like a team player. If he had bent that one in at the end the away end would have taken off.

Noticed lots of thumbs up between him and Barton so thats a positive

He played very well last night and was always wanting the ball and trying to keep the play moving at a good pace, somethign some of the others don't.

Barton gave the ball away a ridiculous amount of times, as he has in other games of late that have cost us. Just seen his misses has had a kid so maybe he hasn't been in the right frame of mind.... one for warnock maybe.

Bit gutted with the fact we didn't win as fancied our chances there, and was fuming when the ref ignored the most blatent hand ball for their goal.... yes it may have been accidental but when it is so advantageous and key in a goal it has to be blown for. The ref was woeful all night and clearly one who likes to be the centre of attention. Not just the 2 big decisions he got wrong (which to a point evened themselves out, but they may have missed the pen) he got loads of small decisions wrong.. .like when Taraabt at the end knocked the ball past the last defender towards the corner and got taken out completely...no foul!!!!!! WTF.

Being relistic though, they had only conceeded 2 goals at home and have a great record there, so a point is not bad. we have stopped the losing streak and hopefully get arsenal out of the way and then pick up some regular points against mid table sides we should be competitive against.

What winds me up is how he chooses to shoot with his left when he was either already on his right or could move it there. Twice he shot tamly with his left.
Very good shift though and worthy of his place vs Gooners

If Tabs gave the ball away half as much as Barton certain posters would be in uproar. Fact.
