If anyone is still worried about viruses though then Microsoft Security Essentials is free, non-intrusive, and works just as well if not better than any anti-virus software you'd pay for.

To be brutally honest, if you're paying for anything on the internet then you're doing it wrong.

With the exception of QPR Player of course Seriously though, I would gladly subscribe to it and pay a higher fee than they charge today if they offered high-quality/high-definition LIVE VIDEO STREAMS of our matches. At least I would know my hard-earned money is going to the club for this privilege. Until then, I stick with freeview streams

I've used Sopcast for years and never had trouble with viruses and the like. Very reliable compared to the Flash streams. If you can, try and use the Sopcast streams provided by Bloodzeed on Wiziwig, found them to be the best quality in my experience.

I got my virus while I had Security Essentials installed, it was the Adwarewin32 hotbar malicious software, a real beast to remove. I have now begrudgingly paid for Norton and have 24/7 support from PC World.

I have AVG free and have done for years and had no probs and they catch all the viruses.

See several above posts, for instance use the RojaDirecta site and choose streams that have "NO" next to them. Most streams usually appear on the list in under an hour before the game.
