I think that's what Warnock meant by going back to basics. Sadly it isn't what's going to work for us: the right way would have been to keep the ball moving quickly with some fluid movement, pretty much like it was when we played the Toon. None of that was fancy, it really was back to basics football and just goes to show that it is an easy game when you keep it simple.

Is it just me or in the first half was there no-one on the left wing?
It seemed like Barton, Faurlin & Derry were in the center with Wright-P out right but no-one on the left utill Wright-P swapped then left the Right side with no-one there. In 'Arry and Fernandes we trust

Spot on, and forget cliches like "us punching above our weights" etc. etc.
If that was the case, what about Norwich and Swansea?
In my view, we are in desperate lack of team spirit.
No wonder when many of the players are being played out of their position week in and week out.QPR

I was and have been to the majority of games this season. He was great at the start of last season and has come back well from injury. But I don't think his premiership standard. He works his socks off but IMO lacks the needed quality. With Barton and SWP we know they have the quality, and they've both shown it at stages this season, but they have also been disappointing as well.Comment
