Neither is Barton. I'd give it to Anton or Ali over him, all day. Luke Young and Kenny would be next in line.

Taarabt is no way a leader. Think the majority of people can see that. He needs someone to deal with him properly though when he isn't up for it. Not sure who in our squad is capable of that.

On a serious note, his attitude isn't right. No way is he fit to be captain, no matter how good he is...That much is a fact.

Like I say, Anton for me, with Ali, Kenny, Young and HH next in line. I think it's clear that Adel needs to just concentrate on the football, and doesn't need the responsibility. Quality player, s**t attitude. Unfortunately, that's two captians in a row with this trait.

Dale, get over it mate. Before start to spurt off, look back at my posts. Joey is a tool as well. Neither warrant the captaincy, hence whi I've listed five players before Adel and not one being our Joey. Why I had to justify that with an answer is beyond me, but seriously...Stop being so precious.

If both Adel and Joey buck their ideas up, I'll be happy. Fairplay to Adel, he's looking decent again, but let's see how long it lasts. Honestly mate, I am not trying to pick on Adel for no reason. I've always said, regardless of how much of a c**t I think he is, I will give credit where it's due.

its too late now anyway...barton should have never been made captain, We mugged off adel by immediately making barton our main man. Barton could have been our leader but let adel be captain to keep him sweet. Very much like derry was our captain without the armband last year.
Warnock made barton out to be something he clearly isnt and now has made him undroppable.
