    Warnocks Tactics

I wonder if NW has tied himself up in knots concerning our home form?

When SWP etc. came in we were playing 4 - 5 -1 the football was free flowing with Young and Triaore finding room and overlapping, Adel was in the hole behind the striker and we had Derry and Faurlin acting as cover. SWP was finding space and making runs and no one could contain us.
NW was however worried about our lack of goals and changed it going 4-4-2.
This seems to have caused us more problems, we get caught to far in front of the ball and we leave ourselves vulnerable at the back, Bothroyd keeps dropping back into midfield and trying to link the play, faurlin has no chemistry with Barton and SWP looks lost. Yesterday at times we had not one striker in the box.

We miss Derry in the middle and NW needs to make his mind up what to do.

Adel's a nightmare away from home but he is a must at Loftus Rd.

Wed is a massive game as is Swansea and we need players who wore the shirt with pride last year to be out on the pitch.

The problem is not the formation, but the lack of pace in the middle of the park and the lack of quality being shown by our so called BIG players.... they need a huge kick up the Rssss

If you think Derry is the answer you need a check up mate.

So let's blame Warnock for the fact his two most Premier League class players (Barton and SWP) spent the entire afternoon giving the ball away and having the touch of rapists! Seriously, people knock Mackie for his lack of talent but these two yesterday were far far worse in terms of ability and class.

I thought the 4-4-2 was working much better than the 4-5-1 he used earlier in the season, I think the problems in the last couple of games have more to do with the quality of our opponents than our formation!
