Looking at our current squad compared with other squads,I think our league position now is probably commensurate. All that 'Europe' hype post -Stoke was always bunkum, but it would only take a sudden 2-3 wins to have Dr Pangloss and Co out in force again.

You are right. After Stoke our league position was massively inflated. About fifth/ sixth from bottom is where we are at. Wigan also improving. Just praying the Venkys either go bust or stay loyal to Kean. Problem is the lower we fall the harder it will be to sign quality players in Jan. Suspect any big name signing will be a loan with a view to a perm if we stay up. Just my personal opinion.

Agreed. Blackburn have some serious quality - Samba, Nzonzi, Hoillet, Dann so us thinking signing Joey, SWP and a good run of form from HH and Faurlin would take us to a top 8 spot were way off the mark.
