Met him in the hotel before and after the playoff final in Cardiff. Was a thoroughly nice bloke tbf. Gave him a but of banter about 'homer' reffing which he took in good grace and gave a little bit of banter back.

Thought he did well yesterday and, as others have said, in the WC Final.

Yes have to agree, a truely top offical. I especially loved the way he made us kick-off the 2nd half with only 10 men, did not see a single shirt pull from a Man Utd player and how in the 2nd half he missed Smalling take 3 foul throws. While we're at it a special mention must go out for the linesmen too, thought they were equally as good.

it was because ROoney scored first and we rolled over and got our tummies tickled. If we had gone one up and got about them he would have given Utd a Pen or sent one of our players off for sure.
