I can see why you've arrived at this team - prob is when we lump it forward in desperation - as we do quite a lot - who in that team is going to hold the ball up?

Agree Helguson had a v off game and Bothroyd - who was poor anyway - was clearly told to play so deep that he wasnt in any position to hold it up. But what warno team have you ever seen come out with a lone striker as short as DJ? He always has a big man up top.

Time to shake it up then, as we have been well and truly sussed and by playing DJ, it would stop the long ball to nowheresville option.

Nothing wrong with pace up front, as every other team likes it so why should we be different, or do we need plodders who are good with their heads, when we dont have wingers to whip the the ball in.

              Fair point Stainrod
But I'd stick with DJ for a change though, as without him we are too slow / have no pace through the middle. And we know from his time at Blackpool he can score at this level

                  Id go with something like

                  Kenny
Young Anton(if fit, if not Gabs) Connolly Hill
                  Barton Faurlin
                  SWP Tarbs Traore
                  DJ
That midfield seems to be one which a lot of us would go with (if we picked the team!) but it's just a case of who goes up top.
For me, HH would shade it as he HAS been scoring, and because it isn't clear how fit DJ is yet -- only just back running after his injury, after all.
Anton back would be great, although I'm sure I read somewhere that he wouldn't be back until the Arsenal game?
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########
