not a bad shout but Hill looks out of place against quality.. I'm sorry but thats the way it is... like a rabbit in headlights today albeit the short time he was on... he's done quite well for us though..

Their right winger is Seb Larsson, he's only good at crossing and set pieces. If Clint closes him down when he gets the ball then he shouldn't be the problem.

Traore is quick and will track back well to support Hill, so not a problem doing this.
Mackie not up to beating prem defenders.

Yes I did and in my opinion Sturridge was invisible all of the game which i do not think was all down to how well Clint played.
Anyway, I have never blamed one player or signalled out anyone if the whole team plays badly. Clint Hill is a solid performer for the record.
However, for me the alarm bells started ringing two weeks ago when we failed to beat an average WBA side at home.
We need to strengthen otherwise we will be relegated. End of. If Traore played on left midfield why should we be asking him to compensate for a lack of pace at left back? This is the premier league, we should have a full back who has that asset already, In a position that IMO is one of the most important on the pitch.

Personally I'd start Taarabt against Sunderland and probably DJ as well provided he's fit enough!
Campbell has a knack of being in the right place at the right time and Taarabt showed more creativity in the time he was on than the rest of the team did in 90 mins! I've been critical of Taarabt this season mainly because apart from 1 or 2 games he's been useless but he looked devoid of any ideas with the team set up the way it is at the moment! What is it now 6 goals in 8 games at home? You can't win a game unless you score!
