Bit unfair to single out Barton again, lets face it Connolly, Mackie, SWP or Faurlin were not great either, just Joeys pass led to a goal. Rooney put in a few stray passes too but we were not good enough to take advantage. You concede a goal in 50 secs to THE CHAMPIONS, is hardly the start you require.

did'nt he comment on being the best english mid over the last 18months(last few weeks at newcastle???).....as i said in a post a few weeks back he has been average but has even managed to drop below that level......totally clueless. loves an interview/twitter but only for that he'd never be mentioned in the press-worrying in my humble opinion. the one player i thought would rise to the occasion and be a prominent player for us has not warrented his own self proclaimed bull. needs to show what he can do with his feet not his horrible accent.
