I'm just like you Greengrass,even with midweek televised highlights I stick my fingers in my ears when the news is on and they announce the football results and I shout out la la la,to avoid hearing the results.As for MOTD Saturday nights I avoid the results so it feels you are watching the games live which makes it far more interesing.Sad really,but we're all different.Cheers.
