I have this awful habit though of just wanting tried, tested established players & always see these kind of players as massive gambles coming into the Premiership but the scouts at the club would know a damn site more than me about a player so if they think he's good enough then I can only agree.

You cant count Schevchenko, Chelsea have a knack of turning good forwards into donkeys.

Please see Fernando "his link play is fantastic" Torres as the classic example.

One slight oversight, he was not signed to link play.

Pellicori really didn't have a good record before us at all, he had scored very few goals at all at a decent level!
