I'm obviously in the minority here as I think it's a good move,we need a good back up to Kenny and he won't cost us anything, and it's not like he will be our only loan loaning, expect another couple as well

Would be a great signing. Better than cerny and Murphy imo. Keep cerny and get rid of Murphy.

Strange one, but maybe Paddy's injury is more concerning than they initially thought.

Don't think Gomes is any more reliable than Cerny

Jeffro has got it spot on. Warnock has already said Cerny is carrying a long term injury hence only playing 2 reserve games in the last 12 months and Paddy's injury is the type that can recur without warning. So exacrtly why we need cover with Prem experience - and Gomes may have made a few high profile blunders but he;s been at the top with Spurs and PSV. Murphy couldn;t even get in the Ipswich first team

Great keeper, prone to a mistake but a very good keeper all the same.

No point looking at clips of saves from keepers as any Professional keeper can, and should be able to make some very good saves. What's important is whether a keeper is consistently good and gives confidence to the defence. With the likes of Gomez there are howling mistakes too frequently, meaning the team will always be a bit on edge. That can then lead to others making mistakes as a result.

I don't see the point in getting Gomez, unless it was arranged in case Paddy didn't get back to fitness as quick??
