I don't really have time for sentiment in football, especially as it is the fans that pay for their obscene lifestyles with constant ticket rises just to pay for their ever growing greed.
He hasn't done enything for us either, so can't feel sorry for him at all.
He needs to hang his boots up and stop wasting resources.Comment

Yeah must be awful to have all that money paid to you every week and be a millionaire!
As somebody correctly pointed out. Pay as you play does not mean he does a shift in Tesco after training to earn his current money.Comment

Maybe so silver but he's still a normal bloke who's trying to achieve something and being stopped by something he can't help. Waste of a squad place though big time.Comment

Rubbish argument. Saying he won't be bothered just cause he earns loads of money. He's lucky he's earnt alot of money yes but still extremely unlucky.Comment

I don't think Premier League footballers are anything like normal blokes.
I don't wish bad on anyone, but I am also not going to feel sorry for him while 99% of are people in a far worse situation in life than he is.Comment

Stanley he's a crock no to ways about it.. I feel sorry for him that's all.Comment

Don't feel sorry for him, feel for people like Steve Thompson the england rugby player who broke his neck and had to retire. Fought his way back and paid back his insurance money just to be able to play the game again..he has now had to retire again after having same injury!Comment

He gets injured opening his eyes, so limping of after a couple of minutes, AGAIN, says it all really.Last edited by silvercue; 14-12-2011, 12:26 PM.Comment

I don't feel sorry for Kieron Dyer, he has made a huge amount of money from a football career in which he has been injured a ridiculous amount of times.
Don't get me wrong, its a great shame as he is talented, but there are many more in far worse situations that Kieron Dyer.
He should probably retire on medical gounds, take a decent payment from the insurance company and do his coaching badges.Comment

It is not an argument fella it is an opinion.
Not sure where i said he won't be bothered either. Anyway my point was and is the guy has made millions out of football, is set for a life of luxury and has had a career doing what most of us dream of.
He has been unlucky injury wise yes but not sure how you can feel "very sorry " for him based on the above.Comment
