London midland back from liverpool last night

Anyone else do the ridiculous 3 train shuffle back last night? Took forever on packed trains. I think RangersW12 and some of his mates were amongst the happy throng.

I jumped off at Crewe and bunked the fast train to Euston. Back in Reigate at 10.35.

Wouldn't have even got back to Euston 'til gone 10 if I'd stayed on that sweat box. He who dares and all that.

That's what I'm saying mate. On the chuff chuff you can kick back have a munch, a laugh & plug sockets to charge your phone up on the way back. Happy days.

Took about an hour longer getting back than the Virgin trains but not being funny they were £70. What we saved paid for our match tickets, Nando's & a programme.

Just look on London Midland or Teainline. You either need to book a while in advance, or as a group of four. Or both.

Traffic was fine all the way back for us. We left Liverpool at 11.30 this morning and got back by 1.30. Happy days!

Bumped into Mackie and Orr at about 3.45am roaming the streets in the town center. The players were supposed to be having their christmas do up there but given there was only those two out I doubt it was a night to remember!

To be fair, we got roughly the same deal. We had to split between two though. Jeff did well as we left that late to book. I was knackered when I got back. Curry, first fight of the boxing and bed. Long old day.

I was in at 21:05. I jumped off at Watford junction at 20:50 the lads rolled onto Euston.
