    SWP Is He All That???

I hear rumbles of people starting to ask questions......

All huff n' puff, twists & turns flatters to deceive.

Can't shoot, never gets in behind to cross, no end product.

    Overated???

Yes he's been poor. I've been disappointed with him, I'll be honest. But how many also think we are playing him in the wrong position? He should be a disciplined right winger. Not free role behind the striker or left wing.

Would help if he was played in his correct position.

Too right I'm with you on that, right wing is where he needs to be to get the most out of him

I feel sorry for Shaun, you can't knock him for effort. I really think it's time for Neil to play him in his correct position even if it means Mackie has to stand down.

He was asked to play in 4 different positions over the course of the game which cant have been easy.

After all his woeful long range attempts I was thinking how much we miss Taarabt but I thought apart from that he wasnt that bad. Smith and Mackie seemed to be the ones lacking ideas.

He has to play right wing and then let's judge him, he ain't got a left foot so y play him left wing. Can't warnock see what we see

Thought he was one of our better players today, including tracking back to defend several times. Playing out of position and often very deep.
There are other players who need to be looked at before SWP imho.
Faurlin is my hero!!! Love him!!! #########

SWP is a quality player, but there isnt enough quality around him imo. For me, hes one of our best players - but he barely gets given a chance in his favoured posistion.

The contrast between Downing's performance and SWP's was massive I'm afraid. I agree SWP needs good players around him but everyone seemed to be playing with their brains half asleep today; really slow to find an option and execute a pass all afternoon.

Is he though? Never seen him look like he has any control of the ball. I think he has never lived up to the potential he showed when younger - possibly due to his confidence being destroyed at Chelsea. And since when does playing out of position mean you lose the ability to kick the ball, trap the ball or dribble?

I think he lacks motivation. That's why he needs to play on the right.
