Do you know when the transfer window starts and if new players can play vs Norwich?

Seeing as 1st of January is a bank holiday I can't remember if the transfer window opens the 1st of January or the 2nd?

And also if we do have deals in place for January do you know if they can play against Norwich on the 2nd?

if this was more surrounding the end deadline day it'd be a bit more to it.
I think because it really is the first day of transfers i doubt there'll be any movement.
