        If we're looking at Palace players then we should look no further than Clyne and Zaha, not Ambrose.

            Might be going against the grain here, but I think Ambrose is still a very decent player.
            Did well in the Prem for Charlton and Newcastle.

            Fee probably too big now though, would have been a good Bosman.

                    He can't even get in the Palace team half the time. He wd be another Buz - plenty of great Youtube moments but is he going to stay fit, be box to box and put the tackles in and push Faurlin or Barton for a starting place? Plus he had the chance to join us and blew it. That said Warno rang to congratulate him for his goal and the manager did say some of our signings won't be "names". So I wouldn't be surprised, but if Palace really want £2m for him and Man U will accept £3m for Gibson I wd have Gibson every time.
