Haven't given this much thought and I'm sure someone will quickly make me look stupid... But what if we swapped adel for another player in a straight swap?? What would happen to the sell on fee to spurs?

I think Adel must of been sold it's pretty clear that the lad wanted a move to PSG.

I think it'd be more on the player coming in, and not Adel. If we manage to get a player with a market value of £10m for instance, that's what we'd pay the percentage on.
For example, we get Defoe, and they would get Adel plus £4m. Not that this would be the swap, but you get what I mean...Your mum would love me...Comment

Might put the dampners on any potential purchases / loans in the future with Spurs - And we do seem to have a good relationship with Harry and seem equally keen on a number of their fringe players !Comment

Apart from Kyle Walker, who have we had from them in our 'good relationship' to worry about ****ing them off, if we sell Adel for peanuts to get him out of the club and dont forget, that is exactly what Harry done so I am sure he will understand.
