Charged for a Carling cup match I opted out of

Just checking my loyalty points and noticed I was debited the day before our last CC match even though I opted out when I renewed my ST this year. i paid in cash at the BO and told the person there and then. I was previously in the auto-cup home ticket scheme but port vale put a stop to that.

So obviously didn't go to the rochdale game. Has it happened to anyone else? It's boosted my points to over 180, and am thinking of raising this issue towards the end of the season after I've taken advantage of home and away ticket point priorities.

I can honeslty say if you 'raise' it at the end of the season I hope they tell you to get stuffed.

How tight can someone be. Your moaning about being £10 out of pocket yet you want to 'take advantage' of the situation. Beyond belief.

well if we're going down the "honesty" path - i know of people who buy the away game tickets with no intente of going to them, sell them on, but keep the loyalty points for the big away games....

Nothing wrong with that at all IMO.

I see no problem in that. It's a gamble to take as they might not shift the tickets.

I sold mine for Wolves as I had a mates 30th, and I'm selling my Swansea one as well. They've changed the date and I can't make it. Might have to do the same for Newcastle as well.
            Your mum would love me...

I didn't create the situation, they did. £13.50 on a pension is not chickenfeed as you might think. And if I hadn't been looking through, I would have been charged for a game I didn't want to go to, and like you said, been out of pocket for nothing, and never known about it. I don't see that's OK. I don't remember those that took advantage of the 'complimentary' free memberships recently, being told to get stuffed.

If sold at face value to another QPR fan; nothing wrong at all IMO. If sold for profit to the highest bidder, then I think thats not on. Just my personal view on it.

Is it not a slight form of 'ticket touting' with loyalty points as the end profit?

It's very mentally visual I know, and some of us have done it too, including me. The first two belong to the late great TC
