Stoke - Sold out. Can hardly slate that. Norwich, Spuds, Foolham the same.
Liverpool is pretty much there too.
Wigan is a hole. Hardly an inspired away game, but we didn't travel poorly.Your mum would love me... -
Think its been excellent to be honest and a lot is to do with club not requesting enough tickets
The amount who got to Wigan for a 12.30 kick off was exceptionalComment

which is my gripe isles............surely the club should ask for 2000+ for even the boltons/blackburns/sunderlands!you know nothing john snow!!!!Comment

Tough call though, mate. Any unsold tickets are our responsibility. New season in the Prem, so I guess the board are playing it safe. The ST rebates cost them enough, so you can't blame them for being cautious.Your mum would love me...Comment

Could not agree more old bean but it appears the club in their wisdom took the heart the results of a survey they sent out to a certain view that most would not go to away games
I would wager that many of those who answered the survey dont bother with home games either but thats another matterComment

I think its been pretty good.
We as a fans base always averaged around 1400-1700 I would say when in the lower leagues.
We have the fans who go every away game
Fans who go every other away game
and then the ones who tend to save it for the big games away.
Nothing wrong with any of the above but I would always expect for the not so attractive grounds to have around 2k max no more no less unless its an end of season 6 pointer etc.
Not sure what we have averaged away so far this year but i think it will stand up well as a % of our home attendances.Comment

I think the away support has been great and a credit to all involved with QPR.
We have sold out all away games except Everton & Wigan, a lot of people still on holiday for the Everton game and Wigan KO was very early.
We could have sold at least 3k more for Fulham and Spurs and probably 2K more for Liverpool. I know of at least 15 people who desperately wanted Liverpool tickets and even as ST holders with over 140 points have missed out.
The club should be asking for the full allocation at every game. We were all sent an email back in September asking us to complete a questionnaire on which away games between then and January we were planning on going to. They also confirmed the prices for each match, so I guess either not many responded or those that did aren't travelling hence only taking the min. allocations at Stoke, Norwich etc
With our continued success and pending transfers in January I expect demand for away tickets will rise even further22nd February away v Charlton is the 40th Anniversary of my support of QPR and my first game. Away v Chelsea 3-3 23rd Feb 1974. 40 years of pure magic!!Comment
