does one of the four have to have a railcard or something?

No mate. Do it in advance to be safe, as they can be funny on the day. Trainline.com.

When you pick the number of adults as 4, you then 'add rail card' and select the 'Groupsaver 4'

                          £91.40 for all four.

No mate. Its a group save deal. 4 for 2.

If someone has a rail card it makes no difference with this deal as all four are getting the discount.
