Sorry,I meant FLAIR, although fireworks is what we'll probably need next Saturday.

I'm going with if in doubt give the armband to the keeper. Simples
i supported qpr in the glory days when chris kiwomya and michael ngonge played up front

So we still haven't established who the vice captain is then?

        Must be Derry surely.

Let's face it, Derry SHOULD have been captain last season. He was the leader on the pitch and led by example. He is the natural replacement for Barton, so should come into the team with the armband.

I can see Neil giving it to Adel with a "go and proove yourself" message.

Listening to Faurlin in a few interviews on telly, he isnt very clear when he speaks but you can kinda understand him, so if a captain is the captain for vanity reasons, yeah why not Faurlin, but if a caption is there to motivate and to get clear concise messages to players, then it would be Derry or another player for me.

The fact Adel was captain last year tells us that, although I agree what you say makes perfect sense, Warnock doesnt seem to think the above is too important.

I think it will be Derry but we've leaders all over the pitch so it doesn't really matter. Would be most surprised if it is Adel, not sure where he fits in with the way the team are playing/battling at the moment. However, I'll always be grateful for last season, it was a privilege watching him.

we have a number of leaders who could take the armband in Barton's absence. Derry, Kenny, Hill , Young , Ferdinand , Faurlin would all be admirable deputies.

Have a hunch it will be Faurlin (wasn't he captain for one game last season?), but the professional way Shaun Derry has acted since being on the subs bench, would be inclined to give it to him.

My choice would be Derry. He's a no nonsense player and Joey's stand in. Let him do both jobs.

                                If not, I'd say Ale.
Supporting QPR isn't just about a football team. It's about roots and identity.
