There's a cringe when we start dismissing players because they are not good enough for x major club considering where we've come from and how far we've got to go.

Stats are open to interpretation. You could also see a player who this season played 90 minutes at the San Siro alongside Totti and De Rossi to get a point at Inter. He's got plenty of Champs League experience also - which can't be said of any of our players.
