High praise for QPR in Jamaica

In Jamaica for sme r'n'r with the missus - booked with an eye on getting away between the Man City home and Norwich away games of course. Was here eight years ago and none of the locals knew Rangers then.

The first question they ask is 'Who be your team in London den?' As soon as I say QPR, they touch fists and say 'You boys beat Chelsea! Nuff respect'. Quite a few of the local lads who work the hotel beach bar have expressed an admiration for Joey Barton and a strong dislike for Chelsea and Terry so I've been making firm friends. Or maybe they are just saying that as I keep buying the drinks?

Another Jamaican link, is that the former High Commissioner to Jamaica, Derek Milton is a long-standing ST holder in the SAR and has on a few occasions brought along the current Jamaican Ambssador to the UK to Loftus Road.
