    Our back 4 v City

Were they too good for us or did our 4 have a off day ? Anton's embarrassing early, early sliding tackle for their 2nd goal was one.
Not a negative post ...just a after match recall.

Very good at times. Traores failed cross gave them their second goal.. Can't blame Anton for that second goal, world class first touch by silva.

Obviously its the easiest game in the world to play from the stand but don't know why Ferdinand showed him inside rather than tying to push him down to the byline for the first goal. Their second goal - the player had an unbelieveable touch and think that would have bamboozled a more expensive defender than Gabidon. Third goal - could our defender have jumped a bit better and why did Kenny stand the wrong side of the goal and just watch it go in? That said it was a beast of a header.

That first touch would get himself that much space against the best in the world IMO... Messi like.

Sunday people claimed the events of last fortnight caught up with Ferdinand and that he had a stinker!! Not entirely sure I agree?

No, apart from the first goal. Thought Anton had a good game, Young had his worst game since he joined. Then again we have to take into account that it was against world class players.

Maybe the defence as a whole could have done more about the first one, not just anton. Dzeko was allowed to zigzag through the defence practically unchallenged. Silva goal...his first touch would have beaten the best defenders on the planet. Class goal which couldn't be stopped imo. Yaya toure is a beast and I'm not sure much could be done about the header. Perhaps young could have closed kolarov down early to stop him getting the cross in.
But let's not forget, we took on a team of world class players and matched them. We may have lost but I'm proud of the lads.
