    Nic Anelka to QPR

According to The People this morning.

Nicolas Anelka will be offered a route out of Chelsea by QPR in the January transfer window.

Andres Villas Boas is plotting a shock move for Newcastle's Sammy Ameobi & French forward Anelka has not been offered a new contract to stay at Stamford Bridge.

QPR are willing to pay wages of up to £90,000 a week for his goals that will keep them in the Premier League.

Neil Warnock is also keeping close tabs on Andy Johnson's situation at Fulham.

Would be an amazing signing. Although he's 32 he's fit as a butchers dog & has always found the net at all levels.

great player - but can't say Ive ever warmed to him and attitude a bit of an issue. Obviously this is being incredibly spoilt when only a year or so ago we were wondering if Pellicori and Nardello would get us the goals, but given a choice I'd prefer Defoe - but still wd be a geat signing and a signal of intent.

Let's get both plus Berbatov and the Juventus striker. Forgot Defoe!

I know, that did somewhat reduce the credibility of the story...

Bothroyd and HH seem to be hitting form as well as a good understanding. I hope theyre given a chance to continue and not pushed aside too quickly.

And well done W12 for winning his bet yesterday on 1st goalscorer.

Anelka was great for Bolton but that when he was in his late 20s

I rather see Qpr go for someone in their mid 20s or late 20s at the very least

True. Some of Helguson's leaps were unreal. For a guy who isn't even that tall he hangs in the air in a way that Andy Carroll could learn from! Just a shame Neil didn't have him five years earlier in his career.

The timing of his jumps and his ability to hang in the air and get above defenders is quite incredible considering his height. He's got to be one of the best in the business at that, not to mention his excellent hold up play and distribution.

HH has always been underestimated, the guy has vast experience playing top level football for his country. The iceman's timing and positional sense when he jumps is amazing.

Imagine Le Sulk (NA) teamed up with Le Sulk mark II (AT)

even Sir Alex wouldn't be able to manage those two on a team

That AVB is trying to sign Sammy Ameobi is whats breaks the reliability in this article. Pathetic..

Seems unlikely after what Mick Jones said about him post Chelsea !

Doubt we'd sign someone missing a key part of their game.
