    Sousa 1st signing

Jordi Lopez has signed for Swansea City.

PAULO SOUSA is set to make his first signing as Swansea City manager, recruiting highly-rated former Real Madrid star Jordi Lopez.

Good luck to him - Lopez that is. I think Swansea may be tough competition

Show's that either money wasn't the issue in us signing him permanently, or that he was trying to hold us to ransom on a high contract.

We've got enough talent in the midfield but as you say good player and good luck to him, want to hear Sousa say 'loyalty' again as he sounds like a duck whos had a stroke

i think Lopez is a good player, but we still have a great midfield with or without him

I lost respect for the guy when he wanted more money after scoring that goal, I would have told him if that's why you are coming here then this football club don't want you. He was good but wasn't that great.

We will still finish well above Swansea.

have to agree with Morris. Hes a good player, but if he didnt score that free kick, would everyone still be saying how good he was? He was good, but not amazing - and i wouldnt be dissappointed either way if we signed him or not. Buzz, Vine, or Routledge would be a big loss - Lopez, good but wont lose any sleep

irrespective of that free kick he was clearly a class above anything else we had last season in midfield. Good football brain, anticipation, positioning and always in control, we are a weaker squad without him.

IMHO the money thing is a whole load of spin, he was clearly going to follow Sousa whereever he went

Good player, but would have liked the board to have signed Tarrabt made things happen, would have got better with us and only a youngster.
