  • How much is Adel worth now?

Seems to me he is now worth less than a £1million !

If we are to sell him in January then how can we get anyone to pay good money for what we have seen so far in the premiership.

Also...would this be the reason we keep playing him? Warnock must know we play better without him but if he gives up now we will lose millions.

Lets hope he turns his form around.

nowhere near the £10M we could have got in the summer if reports were correct, but were pobably weren't, now prob lucky to get anywhere near £5M especially after the public tantrums at Fulham,Chelsea over the penalty and at Spurs. not sure another prem club would touch him? so possible move abroad looks like only way out, also looks like N.W patience are starting to wear thin with him and decided to push him to the point of no return. maybe for the good of the club! and team harmony.

30-50% of what his value was at the end of last season.

Without doubt a championship player of the highest standard - but with some serious question marks concerning his ability to be effective in the PL.

What did Routledge go for? £1.5 million? So probably a bit more than that - say £1.75 million. Worth every penny to your Notts Forrests of the world (providing they play to accommodate him).

            Worth way more than this.

Yes he hasnt proved it in PL and yes he has a sh1te attitude; but the fact he put in a HUGE contribution to getting us into the PL (in fact Id go as far as to say eh tore that league a new 1!), which in itself is worth £90mill(?) surely says he is worth £10mill still?

10 average/poor games in the PL (which still have shown a couple glimmers of quality) doesnt make a player who was valued at £15mill drop to £1.75mill.

No one ever offered anywhere near £15M for Taarabt and I think the problem in the summer was that Leonardo would not offer more than £7-8M and pulled the rug on the deal, as he did not want him.

Oh ok fair enough, I thought they offered £15M but then he got concerned about his "temper problems" and pulled out.

Is a fair bit of money for somebody unproven in the PL tbf.

£1.75million is laughable mate. I guess he was valued to around £9-10m this summer and do you really think that value is decreased almost 80% less for not scoring in our opening 10 games?

He was suberb against Newcastle for example.

Don't we have to give Uncle Harry a large chunk of any sell-on fee ?

He wasn't valued at that in the summer. It was all speculation fuelled by places like this and the BS spewing from Tango & Cash in order to get maximum money for the club. If he was, why would Warnock have said that if we'd have sold him to PSG, after Spurs' sell-on cut, we'd have been left with "virtually nothing"? Also, one reasonable game in 10 doesn't make a spring.

Put it this way: Scotty Parker went to Spurs for £5.5 million...........

The true value of something, is based on what someone is prepared to pay and people on here might be willing to turn a blind eye to the things Adel does and accept he does things, but 95% of football clubs don't, as Leornardo proved. Currently £2.5M - £3.5M for me, but would the club take it.
