Need to change to 442 if the other team are 442, with Adel on the left or as a second striker just off like VDV. Think Derry has to make way and play Barton and Faurlin in middle.
They should be happy that they have someone who can win them matches, if theyre not that is down to Sir Neil

Taarabt wide left isn't the answer either. He will just wander inside leaving the left back exposed unless one of our centre midfielders covers for him.

The days of accommodating Taarabt in the starting 11 are over, we're a far more balanced side without him. He needs to be used as an impact sub and if he can't stomach that then he needs to go!

There was one prime example in the 1st half where he was running with ball towards their goal, then he just passed the ball sideways, where last season he would have carried on towards goal and shot. For some reason he's just not doing that this season. No idea why, because he definitely has the ability.

Why would he pass to him every time he had the ball he gave it away, slows down play and gives nothing when the other team have possession. Also in another post you say play him off the striker like VDV, what game were you watching that is were he was played.

He was appallingly poor today. He seems to have badly lost confidence. A less talented player would up his work rate and make up for the lack of touch with more running and tackling, but and given he can't tackle or head a ball he can't go there.

I'd have more sympathy for him but for the constant stream of announcements either from him or his agent that he's too good for us/not paid enough/wanted by Man U etc and wants to leave.

Difference is mate Derry has done it in most other games; Adel has done naff all in 95% of games this year.
Young Helguson and Barton all put in 5 times more effort than Adel.
And none of these players think the sun shines out the #### and openly say they want out; theyre all comitted and give theri all for our club.

I have zero time for Adel.
