Agreed mate. Good player that was used as a scapegoat by alot of fans IMO.

I be the 1st to put my hand up I #### him off in the past

I still do believe he is no good for us playing up front on his own... but if Neil want to start playing with two upfront then Bothroyd should start as he prove today he can cause problem when he got some support up front otherwise we are better off playing the ice man up front on his own as he prove he is the best person for that role

Jay has played well in every game he's featured. He just wasn't hitting the target. Looks far better alongside another forward.

Well surprise surprise, Neil goes 4-4-2 for the first time and guess what, yeah Bothroyd scores a goal and plays much better. Aint rocket science. His touch and hold up play was very good and played some great little flick ons too.

Jay will come good, and that goal at Spuds could be what he, we, have been praying for, a turnaround in his, and ours, fortunes.
