Certainly sounds v promising, tho I wouldn't mind him having a season with a good div 1 or lower championship side. problem is he is yet another silky player who is not quite a striker and not quite a midfield player - what we really need is someone to lead the line.

Jumping the gun bit a couple of goals in a friendly dont make him Cristiano, cant see him starting too many games to be fair.

He's scored in friendlies, on loan, in the youth, in the reserves....

            Question:

Would you prefer him over Di Carmine? or over Helguson?

Seems a better option that what we tried last year

                Deffo over SDC!!!!!

Give him a chance - why not he has shown us that he is more than capable. it's just whether he can do it in the heat of battle cosistantly in the CCC.

Do you know he might just be maturing into the quality player we hoped.

maybye not the finished article just yet but not that far away

Youth doing well...that's all I know.

And that HAS to be a good thing. Remember not long ago his best mate was murdered as well...and he seems to be coping with that well.

About time we started bringing people thru the ranks and lets hope he's given the chance that, in my opinion, he is earning.

Only a friendly....remember thinking Ben Sahar was mustard after that Ful**** friendly. Do like him though and think he is definitely one to nurture.

I would give him a go at the start of the season, playing up front with a new striker maybe? Vine just behind?

well scoring 2 goals in a frendly against a team from slovenia does not make him championship standard. i would send him to a league 1 club for a couple of months before putting him in the team.
