    Very Interesting

If Anton wins his claim of John Terry being guilty of a racial attack v us on Sunday and JT is stripped of his England captaincy, guess who would be made captain again, yes Rio Ferdinand.
I wonder if Anton has thought of this and it is swaying his decision.

And Rio has been poor recently.

I very much doubt that Rio would even be picked on current form let alone be Captain

            It is interesting though.

I have wondered whther Rio's relationship with JT would have any influence on how Anton decided to proceed.

No racial insults are acceptable, but I think, that like everything, each case has it's own individual set of circumstances and degree of insult, threat, racism etc. Not all cases are "black and white" (haha).

Before anyone thinks that I am not sensitive to racism, I am. However, if the victim could perceive the insult as more or less offensive than some other racist slurs, or more or less threatening and looking at context and situation - they could be influenced by whether their brother is a friend/rival/enemy of the accussed in whether they decided to take it further.

That's fine. Doesn't mean everyone has. I would love England to win the Euros. Anyway - veering off topic a bit....

maybe it's a bit of both. Maybe Terry and Rio don't see eye to eye anymore and so on Sudnay Terry's insulted Anton with a racial slur?

You going to start supporting Man City if we have some players you don't like at some stage?

If he continues to improve he could end up taking his place in the England team.
