Spurs away and City at home are a bit of a write off. I think we can keep it tight at Spurs, but City are far too good.

City won't just win this league, they will be 10+ points clear imo. I can see them being unbeaten this year, they keep improving.

In fairness though would you have fancied his chances against Bosingwa and Sturridge before Sunday? I know I certainly didnt!

fair point matt, and im not taking anything away from clint because i think he is quality, mr reliable like shaun derry. but the sheer pace of lennon and walker may prove too much for the old war horse. stopping one of them he could do. i would be amazed if he stopped them both. absolutely amazed.

If Traore is injured ?

neil said it was an abductor strain that kept armand out of the chelsea game, but he will be fit for spurs.
maybe we could play them both on the left? derry picked up an injury against chelsea, so what if we rested him, moved barton alongside faurlin and swp to the right, and played armand on the left with hill behind him?

I agree mate, on paper Hill will get absolutley roasted vs Spurs and I ams lightly worried about it tbh lol but I was before Chelski and he prooved me wrong, so who knows eh!

Good idea, I can see this working. Pace on the flanks is a big part of Spurs game and so I would keep Hill and Traore left, but balance it with Young and Smith on the other side to keep up with Essou Ekotta and Bale, and drop SWP

Neil will stick with the same team. With the exception of traore for hill.

Personally i'd start buz and smith , as we need to keep the ball , and then swap one of these for tarbs depending on how game goes.

Anyone can beat anyone in this league but keeping the ball and playing on the floor is essential against the top teams, if they get it we simply wont see it again for a while.

i agree with this assuming derry injured , apart from dropping swp , he will be able to keep up with bale, smith couldnt and hes worked so hard for us defensively
would defo play adel, i have a feeling that he will come out guns blazing vs harry s team desperate to prove a point.
spurs have a thing where they underestimate the smaller teams so hopefully that will happen sunday aswel, what price a london double for us ?

Now I know this simply won't happen but what about Hill keeps his place and Traore plays on the wing - he can help cover their serious pace as he has plenty of his own whilst Hill does the hard tackling. Then when we have the ball Traore's pace causes a threat wide so they can't push on as much as they could without a pact threat on that wing?
