    would we have prefered swp to carry on and score yesterday?

    just ref the above when the ref blew up swp was on his way to beating cech, woudl we have preferred the second goaland chelshit remaining 11 -11 or pleased it was pulled back?

    personally think the best outcome for us happened , swp may have missed and not sure we could have held them off all game

    Agreed, seeing Drogba go off was just as good as a second goal, plus it screws them up so much with suspensions and such.....best outcome possible.

      This was the best outcome . As you saw in the 2nd half with 11 players on we wouldn't have a chance.

          Actually I don't dout Sweep would have put it away - Chec was beaten by the side step. 2 nil and the volume would have gone up further and I reckon they would have lost a man at some point anyway. In point of fact, we played better and had them under contol more at 11 a side than we did against 10 or 9.

          I reckon our game plan would have worked and we would have won in normal circumstances - but who really cares, 11 men 10 men or even 9 - one nil to the super hoops is what counts :drunk:
