yes ive seen them playing on grass and ive seen them playing on plastic
but never was there a time that the fans were so fantastic
like lions they all loudly roared
and there players hearts all soared
the chelsea fans all static looked bored
and as they sat at the end of the ground
like mice they never made a sound
i dont know who lives in that sky, hes surely a god

when you become an old git like me your body just dosnt give you any wonderfull experiences any moore
but im telling you i just couldnt recover after the game,recollecting final score
not since 1982 have i experienced this incredible out of body experience,that day clive allen gave me the best 17 minutes of my life
then the shock of going to wembley went through me like a knife
and if only i could have taken my mate steven maddix to wembley with me
but so sadly he was stabbed in a pub months beforen and died
but for my deceased father and for steven maddix i have to be honest and say at the end of the game i cried
