Really concearned were not making oppo goalies work hard enough

Since the start of season feel I can count on 2 hands (prob being generous) the amount of saves oppo goalies have made against us
Bolton don't remember one everton I missed Wigan think he made a couple , shay given and krul made 1 each and on sat just gone apart fro
The goal Robinson didn't have a save to make, in fact the only keeper to earn his money vs us is hennessy

Yes we've gone wide or over but is thy good enough?
This vs not the best teams are we likely to make the keeper make a save in the next 3 games ? Just can't see it

I agree mate. One positive if it actually is a positive is that we have missed a lot of chances which shows me we do create but the last 3 games a shot on target has been virtually non existent. We scored 2 goals but other than that not much at all.

Did Paul Robinson dive to make a single save Saturday?

What's the main problem in your view? Me I thonk SWP needs to step up a bit more & our midfielders need to start getting more shots off when they present themselves.

Faurlin for such a great talent has a very bad shot on him I'd like to see him & Joey getting more shots off.

The solution is simple, play a striker with the instructions to attack the goal, and not play him with his back to the goal, holding the ball up for others.

I think the main problem we don't take shots when on and when we do get a chance to put a shot on target free kicks etc were miles off, is it possibly everyone thinking they may only get one shot and when thy get the chance they freeze for fear of getting it wrong and not getting another chance? I suppose I'm saying if thy didn't think
        About it they maybe would
Get more on target? A good example sat when
Adel through he had time for
Another touch but snatched at it , so is it fear cos
All you ever hear in the pl is you got to take your chances when you get them as you don't get many opportunities, maybe our players believe it??

been saying this for a while. we simply do not test keepers enough.

this ia probably partly down to such a defensive formation at times with 2 holding midfielders. last season it worked perfectly for us, but in most games this season it hasnt - and we have barely been able to get enough shots on goal.

it also doesnt help that when we do get through we miss them and that our free kick ability is so poor.

More long shots is the key for me, haven't seen as many as we used to last season.

You should never underestimate the predictability of stupidity.

And another thing, beaus they are killing the strikers instincts to attack the goal, on Saturday, one ball rolled across the face of the goal and no one was there to simply tap it in, as Helguson was somewhere else.

totally agree, at home we must be more attack minded!

this, or play two strikers. one thats good at holding the ball up, and one to run off him.
