Simple solution - give posters the option to delete their own posts (only their own)

As you can see from Pete's statement this morning he has now resigned from being moderator and admin here, over this matter.

How many times have we heard that in the past. As long as he is part of the ownership of this site nothing changes.

Yes you can of course delete your own individual posts. The problem with an OP being able to delete entire threads is that can seem unfair on many of the posters who have contributed to the thread for all their posts to suddenly vanish. However there would occasionally be exceptional circumstances where it would be necessary.

Like many others I find Petes and the club (Taylor) ?,conduct out of order,totally.In my opinion,nothing more,Petes only interest is his own career.I don't have a problem with that as such.If after all your only talent is to brown tongue and swallow deep,you may as well use it.Shame of it is, he's using our club to further it.
